It shoots at up to 1080p, has a timer and more detailed settings.The responsive touchscreen takes care of secondary issues, like playing back stuff you recorded, swapping resolution. It has four well placed icons, while a touch slider operates the digital zoom.  The camera can be held like a still camera and the shutter button is on the top and 12.8 megapixel stills can be taken. It has a pop out USB plug and full sized HDMI jack. It is a slim sexy design and the likely price of $180-$200 makes it great value
